Oct 07, 2019 If you turn on automatic login for a macOS user account, your Mac automatically logs in to that account during startup. Choose an account for automatic login Choose Apple menu System Preferences, then click Users & Groups. Open up System Preferences, and then click on the Users & Groups icon. Once there, find your user account on the left-hand side (although it will always be selected), and then click on the Login Items tab. You can select an item in the list and click the Minus button to remove it from starting up, and you can check the Hide box to make.

When you turn on your Mac, various apps, add-ons (such as menu extras), and invisible background processes open by themselves. Usually these automated actions are exactly what you want, but you. Nov 03, 2016 Yes, in our case we solved it, by unchecking 'Reopen windows when logging back in' option on the macOS restart alert. Well, you are probably being given a sign.
I managed to install and get it to run, however it runs very poorly. These are the problems I found right away:
1. I am in a Spanish speaking country and only have access to computers running Windows in Spanish. There was no option to select a language during installation and no option after installation - I am stuck with Spanish as the language for Safari.
2. The 'Web Inspector' just displays a blank page.
3. It regularly crashes for no apparent reason.
4. Its Javascript engine is bung - it can't even login to this website
I am sure there are more issues should I continue to use it.
I am a web application developer by profession and can only say this is a true nightmare, since being unable to run the software there is no possibility whatsoever to debug for Safari.
Thus I have already begun telling my clients that I cannot provide support for Safari issues, outlining the reasons for that. They find this quite reasonable, since if can't even login to the Apple website, how can we expect it to run properly on other websites?
I run many web browsers for debugging purposes: IE8, IE7, IE6, Firefox, Chrome and Opera and previously Safari. Since I run these every day I have a good handle on performance and issues. While Firefox is touted by many as superior, the truth in fact for Windows users is that IE8 is supreme. It is the fastest and very compliant with web standards.
I think that your best solution is to run IE8, since clearly the new Safari is far too buggy to be worthwhile persisting with, at least until Apple recognizes the problems **RATHER THAN DELETING THEM FROM THESE FORUMS** and provides some fixes.
